Reinha Rosary Mission Hospital, located in Githunguri, Nairobi, was founded by the Daughters of Our Lady Queen of the Holy Rosary (PRR Sisters) from Indonesia. Established with a mission to provide quality healthcare services to vulnerable populations, the hospital focuses on serving individuals from informal settlements who cannot afford high-end private or public medical facilities. By offering accessible and affordable healthcare, the hospital ensures that marginalized groups, particularly mothers and children, receive the essential medical care they need for a healthier future.
A Journey of Growth and Service
Since its inception in 2008, Reinha Rosary Mission Hospital has grown from a modest dispensary into a fully-fledged Level 4 mission hospital with a 52-bed capacity. The hospital includes well-equipped maternity wards, as well as male and pediatric units, to cater to diverse patient needs. This remarkable growth reflects the hospital’s unwavering commitment to delivering compassionate and holistic care to the community.
